Hi, I’m Elyce de Reefe, indie author, publishing professional, and founder of Story Point Press.
With more than 20 years of experience in operations, administration, project coordination, customer support, and business management, I’ve spent much of my career helping organizations manage complex moving parts behind the scenes.
Once I started writing, I brought those same skills into my own publishing business — coordinating launches, managing reader communication, organizing production workflows, and building the systems needed to support a sustainable author career.
Like many indie authors, I quickly realized that successful publishing requires far more than writing books. Launch timelines, newsletters, storefront updates, ARC coordination, reader growth, and backend systems all compete for attention behind the scenes.
I created Story Point Press to help indie authors manage those responsibilities more smoothly, professionally, and sustainably.
My goal is to provide thoughtful, reliable support that helps authors stay organized, reduce overwhelm, and focus more energy on their creative work.
Whether supporting a launch, organizing backend systems, coordinating promotions, or building reader acquisition workflows, I approach each project with both an author’s perspective and a strong operational mindset.
